Fights Around The World
A Ringside Journey for Combat Sports
About Us
Welcome to FightsATW, the site where you get news, features, and opinions on everything related to Boxing and Wrestling whenever you need it! FightsATW is dedicated to providing you the best coverage with analysis, original content, predictions, and betting straightaway. Our syndicated partners at Bleacher Report, Yardbarker.com & the NewsBreak app, ensure our stories reach fans worldwide.
FightsATW started at the beginning of 2024, and the ATW part of the domain name means “Around the World”. That’s precisely what we aim to do with this site as we bring you news from here in the U.S. and from all over Europe, United Kingdom, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific.
By providing coverage worldwide, we aren’t just speaking of the more prominent names in Boxing and Wrestling, but also the club shows that feature up-and-coming fighters while on the wrestling side, giving you features on up-and-coming independent wrestlers.
We aren’t looking to provide boring coverage or limit ourselves with our published content. We will deliver everything from a championship fight to Jake Paul or Wrestlemania to Hollywood Championship Wrestling, so you don’t have to search for it.
As a team, we are certainly ready to make this the next big indie website for Boxing and Wrestling. Join us on this ride and help make FightsATW number one.
Meet The Team
Abraham Gonzalez
Abraham Gonzalez is an award winning writer and International Boxing Hall of Fame voter who is also the FightsATW Publisher & Editor-in-Chief specializing in combat sports coverage. Abraham is a retired, 25-year Marine Corps Veteran who has covered combat sports for NYFights, The Ring Magazine, FanSided, & ProBox TV. Abraham is also a member of the BWAA (Boxing Writers Association of America) and the host of the audio podcast “The Boxing Rush Hour Show,” which is available on all streaming platforms.
Abraham first fell in love with boxing when he watched Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Marvin Hagler on VHS weeks after the fight took place in a room full of family hovering around the TV. Abraham would then stick by his father’s side as he consumed programming like USA Network’s Tuesday Night Fights, HBO Boxing, Showtime Championship Boxing, etc.
Simultaneously, like most kids in the mid-80s, Abraham was a Hulkamaniac and fell in love with Wrestling. That made Abraham read wrestling magazines given to him by a local pizzeria owner in the Bronx, NY, as he couldn’t afford to buy them when they were considered a new release. The interesting articles in those magazines about independent wrestling promotions like the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) or WCW (World Championship Wrestling) drove him to enjoy more than just the WWF (now WWE).
Boxing and Wrestling have been a part of Abraham’s entire life, so it’s important to him that any news, features, and recaps are done with the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail.
