We are now in April, which means that the AEW Dynasty 2025 PPV is quickly approaching as things are heating up on AEW (All Elite Wrestling).
AEW Dynasty will stream live on Sunday night from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA, marking the debut of an AEW PPV in the “City of Brotherly Love.” Philly is also known to have some of the best and loudest crowds, as it is truly a wrestling city. It is here where the legendary ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling)had their run, leaving a mark still felt today.
In saying all of that, there is pressure on the wrestlers from AEW to perform at their highest level, as those fans will not settle for anything less. It’s the perfect setting for the main event between the AEW World Champion Jon Moxley going up against Swerve Strickland. Given their styles, it will be difficult to think that these two wrestlers won’t tear the house down. Is this the moment that Swerve recaptures the AEW world title?
Kenny Omega returns to the northeast, where he likely has one of his strongest fan bases. His triple threat against Ricochet and Speedball Bailey will likely have everyone standing throughout the whole match. The sleeper is “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Megan Bayne as Storm continues to put on one great match after another. She is pushing hard to take the top spot for the best female wrestler in 2024, so there is an expectation that this match will impress fans more than they thought it would.
With a card filled with intriguing matchups, AEW Dynasty looks to maintain the high standard of the quality PPVs AEW has put out in the last two years.
