On Friday night, Golden Boy Promotions continue their weekday series live on DAZN from the Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio, CA. The Golden Boy Fight Night main event features welterweight contender Alexis Rocha (24-2, 16 KOs), who will face the undefeated Santiago Dominguez (27-0, 20 KOs).

Rocha continues his campaign in hopes of fighting for a world title in the near future. This will be his second fight in 2024, as he last gloved up in March when he stopped Fredrick Lawson in seven rounds. If Rocha can score a big win on Friday, there will be a hard push from the fans to see him face one of the champions in the division.

Although Dominguez has a gaudy undefeated record, he hasn’t faced any of the top contenders at 147, but on Friday night, he will when he faces Rocha. Dominguez last fought in March when he scored a split decision over Jose Luis Sanchez. Can he score the upset and position his name as a welterweight contender for a title?
