All Elite Wrestling’s Mike ‘Speedball’ Bailey Joins DAZN’s ‘The Residency’ For Fan Q&A

AEW (All Elite Wrestling) star Mike ‘Speedball’ Bailey will host DAZN’s The Residency on Friday, May 29, at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 10 pm UK, live on the streaming platform.

The Residency was launched in February this year, allowing football (soccer) fans to interact with some of their favorite players on the DAZN app. Now, DAZN is entering the world of wrestling with The Residency, as it has a relationship with AEW through its non-exclusive media rights deal to distribute AEW‘s pay-per-view events. DAZN will now have the first of what is expected to be many Q&A-style sessions with wrestlers hosted on this platform.

Here is an excerpt from the press release issued by DAZN.

“Fans will be able to join a free live in-app chat session directly with Speedball Mike Bailey, where he’ll answer fan questions in real time. This is designed to be a more interactive fan experience than traditional content or livestreams – direct access between talent and fans inside the DAZN app.”

For those now familiar with The Residency, here are some details about the show.

Given how popular wrestling is these days, this should do well and motivate DAZN to host more of these with AEW in the future.
