A big night of boxing featuring two crucial heavyweight fights is upon us. Former world champions Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) and Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) will be featured on the same card, with AJ fighting Otto Wallin (26-1, 14 KOs), and “The Bronze Bomber” sharing the ring with Joseph Parker (33-3, 23 KOs). If both Joshua and Wilder can emerge victorious, it would open the door for a potential showdown between the two in 2024.
If those two huge names weren’t enough, the card will also feature a title clash between WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol and IBO titleholder Lyndon Arthur. Up to this point, Bivol has amassed a perfect pro record of 21-0. He also has a unanimous decision win over undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez. As for Arthur, he’s won four in a row since his lone career defeat against Anthony Yarde, including his IBO championship win over Braian Nahuel Suarez.
Jai Opetaia has been forced to vacate the IBF cruiserweight title, but he remains the Ring Magazine champion and will be in action against Ellis Zorro.
