Golden Boy has always put maximum effort behind Ramirez since coming over from Top Rank, and this is the world title shot he’s been wanting. The cruiserweight division lacks name recognition, and Ramirez will instantly give it that if he defeats Goulamirian.

Although he’s the champion, Goulamirian is the perfect opponent for Ramirez because activity matters. Ramirez should be able to use a similar game plan to the Joe Smith Jr. fight to secure a decision victory on Saturday night.
