Bruce ‘Shu Shu’ Carrington (9-0, 5 KOs) has just thrust himself into the conversation for Prospect of the Year. Carrington knocked out Jason Sanchez (16-4, 9 KOs) about a second before the end of the second round. This was Carrington’s first two-round fight, and after telling ProBoxTV that he would put on a special performance, Carrington has lifted his profile even higher going into 2024.

Sanchez started out aggressively and Carrington mainly was picking and choosing his shots carefully. Sanchez was pushing Carrington to the ropes and corners, but Carrington used his great defense to set up his counter shots. In the second round, Carrington caught Sanachez with a massive left hook, which, after a flurry, sent Sanchez down for the first knockdown of the fight. Sanchez got up but was on extremely shaky legs. Once Sanchez got up, Carrington jumped all over him and landed another left hook, sending Sanchez down again, which forced the referee to stop the fight.
The stop. The celebration 🥶@B_Carrington1 x #RamirezEspinoza pic.twitter.com/yxw4uwwytU
