What is starting to become a tradition for promoter Tom Loeffler, Sunday night at The Theater, Madison Square Garden in NYC, 360 Promotions will host a card on the eve of St Patrick’s Day.
Junior middleweights Callum Walsh and his opponent Dean Sutherland both came under the 154-pound weight limit. Walsh has been the centerpiece of 360 Promotions, and Loeffler will continue to push him as he did with Gennadiy “GGG” Golovkin in years past.
One of the fights that has stood out not because of the matchup but because of the weigh-in results is Thomas Carty (9-0, 8 KOs) going up against Dajuan Calloway (10-3, 8 KOs). On Saturday afternoon in NYC, Calloway came in at a whopping 409.4 pounds, likely the heaviest weight anyone has weighed in NY for a fight. It should make for an interesting heavyweight clash.
