The champion Carlos Adames (24-1-1, 18 KOs) will defend his title against top contender Austin Williams (20-1, 13 KOs) in a scheduled 12-round bout that headlines the card in Florida. This fight was originally scheduled for January 31 at Madison Square Garden in NYC as the co-main event to Shakur Stevenson vs. Teofimo Lopez, but Adames fell ill due to dehydration. The fight was quickly rescheduled and, barring any issues this week, will finally take place on Saturday night.
