It’s fight week in Atlanta, Georgia, as women’s undisputed heavyweight champion Claressa Shields is once again moving down to middleweight to face unified champion Kaye Scott at the State Farm Arena, live on DAZN.

This will be Shields’ (18-0, 3 KOs) second fight in 2026, following a dominant, one-sided unanimous decision over Franchon Crews-Dezurn in February. With the level of opponents thin for Shields at heavyweight, she had to look to the lower weight divisions to take on the best available opponent.

That fighter is the 42-year-old Scott (5-1-1) from Sydney, Australia, who is the current WBC and WBA middleweight champion. This will be Scott’s first fight in 2026, as her last ring appearance came in December, when she earned a majority decision over Olivia Curry. Shields is the heavy betting favorite at the start of fight week, so Scott will have her hands full on Saturday night in Atlanta.
