Round 1: Crawford started off in the conventional stance but quickly switched to southpaw and was pumping that right jab. There were a lot of feints and both fighters were checking to see what each had to offer.

Round 2: Crawford kept moving to Madrimov’s left in order to take away his left jab. Crawford was moving well and touching Madrimov as much as possible. Madrimov was doing more moving and feints than throwing punches.

Round 3: Crawford kept dictating the pace with the right jab and his movement. Madrimov kept feinting but not throwing many punches. Crawford was trying to bait him into something but Madrimov wasn’t biting.

Round 4: Madrimov picked up the pace and was landing some hard straight right hands. Crawford landed a few left uppercuts to the body that stopped Madrimov in his tracks. The fight is beginning to heat up.

Round 5: Crawford began the round like the others earlier but Madrimov landed a hard straight right hand that caught Crawford’s attention. Madrimov followed it up with more right hands and an uppercut to win the round.

Round 6: During the sixth round, Crawford focused on the body and two right hooks to the body landed cleanly. Madrimov was still hesitant to commit to anything extensive with regard to punch volume.

Round 7: Crawford continued to dictate the pace with movement and his right jab followed by a left hook to the body. Madrimov just isn;t taking any chances and is beginning to run out of time.

Round 8: It was a close round but Madrimov got the best of Crawford with two quick right hands and his left jab. Crawford’s right eye is beginning to show swelling.
