Add FightsATW on GoogleDaniel Dubois said throughout fight week that he was going to win even more convincingly in the rematch, and he did just that by scoring a dominant second-round TKO over Fabio Wardley live on DAZN PPV.
Wardley (20-2-1, 19 KOs) never had a shot at winning this fight, and his legs looked shot from the start. After the fight, during the in-ring interview, Dubois (24-3, 23 KOs) said he wants the big fights, and Frank Warren agreed that he will look to deliver those in 2027.
When the bell rang to begin the fight, Wardley began moving around as if he knew he shouldn’t have been in the ring. Only seconds later, Dubois landed a dynamite overhand right that sent Wardley to the canvas immediately. Dubois landed four to five punch combinations throughout the round that hurt Wardley badly. Dubois let him off the hook a bit, but Wardley was in bad shape.

In the second round, Dubois landed one right hand after another, once again badly hurting Wardley. Dubois mixed in a right uppercut and left hooks that Wardley could not defend as he lay against the ropes. After about seven to eight clean punches landed, Wardley’s trainer threw in the white towel to stop the fight.
Dubois looked more impressive in the rematch and has earned the right to be in a big unification fight in 2027.
