After a thrilling heavyweight title fight this past weekend, Queensberry returns Saturday night with another heavyweight bout, live from the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster, U.K.
Heavyweight Dave Allen (25-8-2, 20 KOs) will face Filip Hrgovic (19-1, 14 KOs) in a scheduled ten-round bout that is a must-win for both men if they want to get a shot at one of the division’s bigger names as early as later this year. Allen fought three months ago and scored a first-round knockout over Karim Berredjem, while Hrgovic hasn’t fought since August, when he scored a unanimous decision over David Adeleye. Although Allen has been the more active fighter, the oddsmakers have Hrgovic as a 10-1 favorite to begin fight week.
