On Friday, DAZN, who will be streaming the event headlined by Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs), announced how much the PPV will cost consumers on June 28.
The streaming platform posted a price tag of $59.99 for U.S. fans to purchase the event. Although this is not as high as the $79.99-$89.99 PPV price tag fans are accustomed to paying, it’s still a little high for a main event that will consist of Chavez Jr., who had two fights in the last four years. The fight will grab the attention of casual fans and those who will support the Chavez name until the end of time, but that PPV price may be a hard ask. The location of the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, is perfect and will likely be the hottest ticket in town.

If you are looking for value when contemplating purchasing the PPV, then look no further than unified cruiserweight champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez vs. Yuniel Dorticos or Floyd Schofield vs. Tevin Farmer. Those are really intriguing matchups and will help sway the fans who are looking for a reason to purchase this event on DAZN PPV for $59.99.
Here is an excerpt from the press release sent by MVP on Friday, which includes ordering details.
