When Tiffany Stratton’s music hit, and she came down running towards the ring to help Nia Jax in her match against Naomi, everyone in the arena was expecting another teased cash-in of her Money in the Bank (MIB)briefcase. What they didn’t expect was a swerve that would lead to her actually cashing in the briefcase and pinning Nia Jax for the women’s world title. Although it was a welcomed surprise, did the WWE wait too long?
The Perfect Cash-In

The way the Stratton cash-in occurred was absolutely perfect. She comes down to the ring, acting like she is going to cash in, but instead hits Naomi with the briefcase. Nia Jax gets the win, and everything seems good inside the ring until Stratton does something unusual. She tells Nia to finish off Bianca Belair, and when she gets to the middle rope, Stratton hits her with the briefcase. Belair then does a torcher rack slam on Nia, and Stratton gets Belair out of the ring. Stratton would then give the briefcase to the referee and cash it in. Stratton bounced off the top rope and did a moonsault while landing on Nia and covering her for the win.

What we all expected was another tease cash-in. What we got was a swerve and a new champion in Stratton. This looks like an obvious storyline with Nia, but can it last until WrestleMania, or is it a short-term story that will see both women go their separate ways? 2025 looks promising already for the WWE and even more so for Stratton, who is now carrying the flag for the ladies on Smackdown.
“Tiffy Time” Took Forever

Fans across social media were genuinely happy to see Stratton cash in the MIB briefcase. Afterward, though, they immediately felt like the WWE took too long to make it happen. The reason being was that there were too many “teases” of a cash-in, which only works for a few times. After that, the gimmick begins to get stale, and fans start to lose interest. This was beginning to happen with Stratton as the last straw for “Tiffy Time” felt like Saturday Night’s Main Event. It was the last tease that fans were willing to deal with and the reaction from the crowd started to settle down a bit.
With the WWE switching their Smackdown program from two hours to three, the first episode needed to feel pretty big but not as big as WWE RAW. The way you do that is you introduce a new star to the platform and that is Stratton. She has the potential to become a star in the “blue brand,” which will be needed as the heavy hitters will likely be on RAW.
So did the WWE take too long for “Tiffy Time”? I think they did but if she is received well as a champion beginning next week, all will be forgotten.
