Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson & Roman Reigns Meet In the Center of The Ring On Friday Smackdown

It was the moment everyone anticipated, yet when it happened, chills ran through those in attendance and watching Friday Night Smackdown at home. Roman Reigns went on his promo and talked his Tribal Chief smack, and then in comes Cody Rhodes.

He gets off his segment, and just as Cody Rhodes is about to announce who he will face at WrestleMania, the music of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson hits, sending the arena into pandemonium.

The Rock would go over to Rhodes and whisper something to him before making his way towards Roman Reigns. It was a historical moment like the one he shared with Hulk Hogan many years ago. It was finally The Rock and Reigns facing each other and taking in the arena’s energy. This immediately felt like it solidified a WrestleMania main event; however, Rhodes never got to choose which champion he would face.

As the credits came up for the end of Friday Night Smackdown, the WWE left it at The Rock and Reigns staring each other down. It was an incredible moment that will be ten times as big when they meet at WrestleMania or whichever big pay-per-view event.
