Although there were concerns that WBO super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete (38-2-1, 31 KOs) would not make weight earlier today, he did and even came an ounce under the 130-pound limit. The champion made weight but looked horrible on the scales while taking exaggerated breaths, which is a clear sign of extreme dehydration. On the other hand, his opponent, Oscar Valdez (32-3, 24 KOs), came in right at the division limit. The challenger was oozing with confidence while the champion appeared ready to swallow a meal. Will this be a repeat of their first fight, or will Valdez put it all together and come out victorious?
