Queen & King of the Ring, the new boxing event concept from Exceed Boxing, makes its German debut on May 29 and 30, 2026, at Active City Arena in the heart of St. Pauli. When the series launched in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in 2025, it sold out and was received as one of the finest boxing evenings the country had witnessed in years. Now, with Hamburg as the opening event of 2026, the ambition is clear: build an international boxing property with unmistakable identity, genuine sporting stakes, and an unforgettable live experience that mainstream sports audiences cannot ignore.
The format is unlike anything the German market has seen. In fact, there is no boxing event like it in the world. Over two evenings, a carefully selected professional fight card and an elite two-day Olympic-style boxing tournament run as one continuous show. The pro card is composed of rising local stars versus tough international opposition. Top Olympic style boxers compete over two days with semi-finals on Night 1 and finals on Night 2. Queens and Kings of the Ring crowned in their respective weight categories, with a chance to defend their titles at future events in other countries. It is all framed by elevated production, live music, dynamic lighting and an open-air arena setting that places the crowd closer to the action than almost anywhere else in boxing.
The event is staged in coordination with the City of Hamburg and the governing bodies for Olympic style and professional boxing in Germany.
THE CARD – NIGHT 1, FRIDAY 29 MAY
Turkey’s undefeated top middleweight Serkay Comert headlines Friday night in a title fight that will announce his name to the global boxing public. Comert has been one of the most compelling prospects in the weight class and Hamburg gives him the right stage to prove it.
Alongside him, Ihor “The Ukrainian Hulk” Shevadzutskyy returns to the ring after a points defeat to double Olympic champion Bakhodir Jalolov – one of the most fearsome heavyweights on the planet. Shevadzutskyy’s combination of raw physique and a surprisingly great ability to move and box like a skilled middleweight makes him one of the most watchable heavyweights in Europe, and Hamburg will see him at his most motivated to come back strong.

THE CARD – NIGHT 2, SATURDAY 30 MAY
Saturday’s main event belongs to Hamza Salahudin, Germany’s unbeaten light heavyweight knockout artist, 15-0, stepping up for his first professional title. With the crowd behind him, everything to fight for.
Alexander Chupil (16-0), the undefeated Hamburg product, adds local firepower to the card as he continues his march toward a title of his own. And Khurshid Tojibaev of Uzbekistan – lightweight World Champion, Asian champion, unbeaten as a professional – brings the kind of international pedigree that confirms Queen & King of the Ring does not compromise on quality at any level of the card.
THE OLYMPIC-STYLE TOURNAMENT
Leonie Muller, multiple World Boxing Cup champion and European Silver medallist, contests the women’s light middleweight crown in what promises to be one of the most compelling match-ups of the weekend. Nikita Putilov, multiple World Boxing Cup and European champion, leads the German charge in the super heavyweight category. Maxi Klotzer, Olympian and World Boxing Cup winner, enters the flyweight tournament as one of the most experienced German competitors at this level. And Magomed Schagidov, currently ranked #11 in the world, contests the King of the Ring title in men’s light middleweight – a category in which he has established himself as one of Europe’s most dangerous operators.
All four face elite international opposition drawn from the top tier of Olympic-style boxing globally – World champions, European champions and Olympic medallists among them. The format is unforgiving: every bout carries a direct consequence, semi-final winners advance to the finals on Night 2, and the Queen and King of the Ring are crowned in each category with prize money on the line. It is the most prominent and commercially ambitious stage available to Olympic-style boxers anywhere in the world right now – and it is coming to Hamburg.
Further Olympic style fighters will be announced in the coming days.
