Golden Boy Promotions heads to Chicago this week to host a WBA lightweight title fight live from the Wintrust Arena on DAZN. Floyd Schofield (19-0, 13 KOs) will face Lucas Bahdi (20-0, 15 KOs) for the vacant WBA title, with the winner potentially seeing major fights at 135 in 2027.

It’s been over 15 months since we last saw Schofield stop Tevin Farmer in the first round of their fight. For one reason or another, Schofield has not been active, and this fight will mark the second consecutive year in which he gloves up only once. His opponent, Bahdi, has been out of the ring for a little over 13 months, which isn’t much better than Schofield’s layoff. The question is who will look better coming off their layoffs on Saturday night in Chicago?
