Gabriela Fundora Will Now Face Alexas Kubicki on September 20

Women’s undisputed flyweight champion Gabriela “Sweet Poison” Fundora (16-0, 8 KOs) has a new opponent for the co-main slot on September 20 at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, CA.

Fundora will now be facing Alexas Daria “Iron Lady” Kubicki (13-1, 2 KOs) in their scheduled 10-round bout. Although there wasn’t any information on why her original opponent Ayelén “Piru” Granadino (12-2-4, 1 KO) of Buenos Aires, Argentina, would not be fighting, this is a last-minute replacement for Fundora, who is making her second defense of the undisputed flyweight crown. Kubicki, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is currently ranked No. 8 in the WBA female flyweight world rankings.

Here is the rest of the card’s info, as it looks to be a night filled with good matchups.
