On Friday afternoon in San Antonio, TX, WBC interim super lightweight champion Isaac Cruz (28-3-1, 18 KOs) and the challenger Lamont Roach (25-1-2, 10 KOs) both came under the 140-pound limit ahead of their Saturday main event live on pay-per-view (PPV).

Both fighters looked ready and in shape as they went nose to nose during the final staredown after they stepped on the scales.
