Jake And Logan Paul’s Mother Wants Them To Pick A New Career Path

Jake Paul’s (12-2, 7 KOs) injury and hospitalization after his loss against Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) has left one person worried about his safety: his mother. And Pam Stepnick is hopeful that her sons will give up their combat dreams to pursue careers that are a lot less demanding on their bodies.

Speaking to Page Six, Stepnick shared her thoughts on her kids putting their health on the line for their respective sports.

“When Logan gets up on those high ropes, and you’re holding on to some other big guy, one slip and you can have a back or neck injury. I worry about that kind of stuff,” she said.

Paul was knocked out in the sixth round during his recent fight against Joshua and suffered a broken jaw in two places. He was hospitalized and required surgery to have titanium plates inserted and some teeth removed as part of his recovery.

Stepnick has always been vocal about the physical toll that her sons put themselves through. A thought that was further amplified after seeing her son hospitalized and struggling after the Joshua fight. She admitted she was “down on her knees” praying for his safety as news broke of his injuries.

Meanwhile, she is also hopeful that her sons will turn to safer career options. When asked whether she sees them becoming politicians, she had only one thing to say.

“It’s been rumored, I could see it: President Paul, or Secretary Paul, Secretary of Defense. I don’t know if I’d wish that upon anyone! But I do know that they are preparing for [life outside the ring] as we speak, building other companies they’re involved with,” she said.

“I’d Like To Be Like Mama Kelce”

But what does she actually see her sons doing in the future? According to Mama Paul, she’d like to see herself in the shoes of Travis and Jason Kelce’s mother.

“I personally picture them buying a sports team like football,” Stepnick said, “That’s my goal. And then I get to go to all the football games that I missed when they didn’t go to college! I’d like to be like Mama Kelce.”
