We officially have a main event on Friday night live from the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL, airing live on Netflix. Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) both stepped on the scale at the commission’s official weigh-in before the ceremonial one on Thursday afternoon.
Whether it was intentional or scheduled, Joshua, who needed to make 245 pounds for the first time in three years, arrived at the commission weigh-in an hour after Paul hit the scales. There were questions about whether he would make the weight since he hadn’t been under 245 pounds since the rematch with unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in August 2022. Joshua made the weight, so all that remains is for these two men to settle things in the ring on Friday night.
