After a July postponement, we have once again entered a fight week featuring unified middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly (15-0, 10 KOs) & Andrei Mikhailovich (21-0, 13 KOs). This time, they will be fighting at The Star in Sydney, Australia, as Janibek defends his titles on ESPN+. In July, Janibek was forced to pull out of the fight the night before the weigh-in due to severe dehydration. After fulfilling the WBO’s request to see medical documents supporting his hospital visit, Janibek will enter the ring with the WBO title around his waist. The event is being billed only as an IBF title fight, with the boxing world eagerly anticipating to see if he will make it to fight night this time.
