KSI Open to a Potential Tommy Fury Rematch While Jake Paul Issues a Challenge

Youtuber turned boxing sensation KSI (4-1-1, 3 KOs) faced boxer and reality television star Tommy Fury (10-0, 4 KOs) at the Manchester Arena in October. While KSI showcased an impressive performance, Fury took it up a notch and was declared the winner by decision. However, the Sidemen star revealed that he believed he was the real winner of the fight and that he’d “be down” for a rematch with Fury.

In a recent Sidecast episode, KSI disputed the judge’s decision and accused Fury of deploying multiple illegal blows to the back of the head. “I feel like I want him to be reminded that publicly he didn’t win that fight. And I guess people are like, ‘You should let go, you lost the fight,’” he said. “But maybe it’s going to take a while for me to be like, ‘Yeah, I lost.’ I think that’s okay.” KSI further mentioned that Fury would not receive any money for his next fight as there isn’t any audience for him.

Meanwhile, co-host Harry Lewis asked him if Fury would proceed to have a rematch with Jake Paul (7-1, 4 KOs). KSI answered by mentioning that Paul would not be interested in fighting Fury again. But he added that he would be open to a potential rematch with Fury.

KSI is currently preparing to face fellow social media icon iShowSpeed in a sparring match on December 15, 2023.

A problematic offer from the ‘Problem Child’

KSI was also issued a winner-takes-all offer to fight the ‘Problem Child.’ In a recent rant, Paul’s business partner, Nakisa Bidarian, called for a fight between the duo at 150 pounds.

“The purse is $25M for each fighter. Winner takes purse of the other fighter ($50M). Jake is the A-side but will happily come to the UK,” Bidarian said. “Let KSI put his name first and have KSI walk second on fight night if the fight is at 185 pounds. If not at 185 – then the fight is not in the UK.”

However, it looks like KSI is not too interested in the matchup. He even reasoned that Paul did not have the “hype” anymore and stated that he couldn’t draw crowds.
