Crocker was being dominated by Donovan, which also included being knocked down in the eighth round. The problem was that Donovan was facing not only Crocker but the referee and the ruckus crowd. The referee was all over Donovan throughout the night, and even though Donovan was dominating the fight according to the majority of the fans watching and the official scorecards, the punch after the bell in the eighth round was close, and it didn’t warrant a DQ.

Now both fighters have the opportunity to come away with not only a clean victory but also the IBF welterweight title that is once again on the line. With so much riding on this fight, expect another wild crowd in Belfast as Crocker and Donovan glove up to face each other in the highly anticipated rematch.
