Logan Paul Announces Retirement From Boxing & Tries To Pawn U.S. Title

Leave it to Logan Paul to create news, as his latest stunts have set social media on fire. First, the 28-year-old social media juggernaut Paul goes on the FOX Business show and announces his retirement from boxing, but only after throwing some daggers to the industry.

“Yeah, I think I’m retired from boxing. I think I’ve done enough in this sport, going fully undefeated at 25-0. So yeah, I’m going to be a wrestler now. No more money in boxing, every company is going broke. So … full-time wrestler. Beat Rey Mysterio, fair and square, for the U.S. Championship.”

There have been rumors that the last DAZN boxing PPV he was involved with tanked, so it’s not surprising he would make such comments. This is also on the heels of Paramount+ dropping Showtime Boxing from their network, leaving ESPN as the only major company hosting boxing other than several streaming platforms.

But why stop there? Paul knows the game too well, and producing consistent, unique content has brought him the millions he and his brother, Jake Paul, now have in their accounts. Logan Paul posted a video where he was trying to pawn the U.S. title he won from Rey Mysterio for $100,000. The video is obviously not real, but it makes for good content for Paul and the storyline built within the WWE. This type of approach is what WWE was missing, and when the wrestling content has gotten a bit stale, out comes Paul with this video.

Hopefully, we get more of this type of content from Paul as he looks to settle in with the WWE and will be pushed towards a world title while eventually becoming the face of the company.
