Lopez, from Mexicali, Baja California, MX, will be making his fifth title defense as a potential unification with the other champions is on the horizon. Lopez last fought in March, where he stopped Reiya Abe in eight rounds, which set up the fight against Leo. It’s a tough fight for Lopez, but he will need to win to get himself ready for those bigger fights.

Leo is on a four-fight win streak after losing a unanimous decision to Stephen Fulton Jr. in 2021. He went on a brief hiatus and signed with ProBox in 2023, keeping him busy. This year, Leo earned victories in January and April, which got him the title fight against Lopez.
