Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) sent shock waves across the boxing world as he brutally stopped Jared Anderson (17-1, 15 KOs) in the fifth round of their fight. Although Anderson was the more athletic fighter, Bakole was the much stronger fighter, and he proved this by hammering Anderson for five rounds.
Anderson was using his athleticism in the fight’s opening round, but Bakole landed a right uppercut and then a straight right hand, sending Anderson down. Anderson got up from the knockdown and survived the round. Bakole kept moving forward and landing vicious straight right hands and right uppercuts. Bakole couldn’t miss as Anderson tried to land big body shots, but they did not phase Bakole.

It was the moment Anderson desperately needed, but he took some serious punishment throughout the round. Anderson showed a ton of heart in the fourth round as Bakole landed one big shot after another. Bakole could not miss with his straight right hand as Anderson had no answer for it.
In the fifth round, Bakole landed a right uppercut that sent Anderson crashing down and almost out of the ring. Anderson got up but was met with a series of right hands by Bakole, who sent Anderson down to the canvas again. After Anderson got up, Bakole jumped on him, and the referee stepped in to stop the fight after Anderson appeared knocked out on his feet.
