In what was one of the most viral moments in 2026 so far, Matchroom Boxing is taking Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller’s hair moment and partnering with Locks of Love for a special event ahead of Saturday’s main event, live on DAZN.
Miller (27-1-2, 22 KOs), who famously had his toupee come off during a fight and flung it into the crowd, will participate in an event supporting children who experience hair loss. On Wednesday, April 22 (3:30 PT) at Bob Santos Gym (3148 S Redwood Street) in Las Vegas, NV, Matchroom will host an event where fans can have their hair cut, and the hair will then be donated. Fans who do this and follow the instructions below will receive two complimentary tickets to Saturday’s Jarrell Miller vs. Lenier Pero main event.
Below is the press release with all the information regarding Wednesday’s event in Las Vegas.
As part of this special initiative, fans who donate their hair to Locks of Love will receive two complimentary tickets to the Saturday night’s event at Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, headlined by Miller’s WBA World title eliminator against Lenier Pero.
“Supporting Locks of Love is something extremely important to me. This cause is near and dear to my heart for several reasons,” said Miller. “The most important is that, on December 20, 2019, one of my fans—who became a beloved member of my family—Lily Weaver, succumbed to childhood cancer at the age of 18 after an eight-year battle with Ewing sarcoma.”
How to Participate
Supporters can participate by donating at least 10 inches of hair following Locks of Love’s donation guidelines. Eligible donors will receive two tickets to Miller’s upcoming fight with Lenier Pero, turning a simple act of giving into an unforgettable live sports experience.
Further details on donation procedures, eligibility, and ticket redemption can be found through Matchroom Boxing and Locks of Love’s official channels respectively.

About the Partnership
Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing custom hair prostheses to financially disadvantaged children, age 21 and under, who suffer from long-term medical hair loss due to conditions such as alopecia areata, cancer treatments, severe burns, and other dermatological disorders. These prostheses are offered free of charge, helping restore confidence and a sense of normalcy for children facing significant emotional and social challenges.
Unlike typical wigs, these custom-made prostheses are designed specifically for children. They do not require adhesives that can irritate the scalp and are built to withstand active lifestyles—allowing kids to swim, play sports, and simply be kids again.
A Knockout for a Cause
By turning a viral mishap into a movement, Matchroom Boxing and Miller are proving that even unexpected moments can lead to meaningful change.
“No child should ever have to experience what she endured. Yet she never complained, and she fought courageously, always with a smile,” Miller added. “I do this in honor of her and the Weaver family.”
