MVP Co-Founder Reveals Why Jake Paul Does Not ‘Want To Do Business’ With KSI

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) is all set to test his mettle against the ‘Baddest Man on The Planet” Mike Tyson (50-6-2, 44 KOs). Meanwhile, fans have been long been awaiting a close-fisted resolution for the beef between the ‘Problem Child’ and KSI. In a recent interview, Paul’s business partner and co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, Nakisa Bidarian, revealed why the fight between the duo is yet to take place.

Bidarian was a guest on the MMA Hour hosted by Ariel Helwani. In conversation, Helwani shed light on the fact that fans have been long calling for a Paul vs KSI showdown. “I don’t think it’s about, it’s not happening, it’s a matter of does it happen? When does it happen?” Bidarian responded.

Helwani further pressed him on the circumstances that prevented the fight from happening for so long.

“I think they’ve only been realistic in what the fight is. I don’t think they have really negotiated fairly and in private. Again, I don’t negotiate in public. I don’t think we’ve made anything to put them down. Jake and KSI going back and forth with each other, totally cool. Two fighters, two content creators, do your thing,” he said.

Bidarian then voiced his disappointment with KSI openly tarnishing the image of Paul, MVP, and himself on public platforms. “It’s just not who I want to do business with. It’s not who Jake wants to do business with. You know, Jake Paul – KSI is a great fight. It’s an exciting fight, but it’s going to be on terms that make sense in the back,” he said. Bidarian, however, added that the fight is a possibility that might soon become a reality.

“Age Is The Equalizing Factor”

Meanwhile, many members of the boxing community have called out the age difference between Paul and Tyson in their upcoming fight. Bidarian, on the other hand, believes that the age difference is one of the only reasons why the fight makes sense.

“Mike Tyson and Jake Paul make sense because of the age, from my perspective. If Mike was in his early 30s, given Jake’s experience, there’s no sense to that fight. Age is the equalizing factor. When you look at Mike Tyson at age 27, he was 40-1. Jake Paul is 27, he’s 9-1. Jake Paul’s been a professional for four years. At that point, Mike Tyson was a professional for 14 years,” he said.
