We officially have an WBO lightweight title fight tomorrow night on ESPN live from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA. Emanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs) came in at 135 pounds, while Denys Berinchyk (18-0, 9 KOs) came in just under the lightweight limit at 134.8 pounds. Although Navarrete is moving up in weight for this fight, he appeared to have a hard weight cut and did not look stable when standing on the scale. This fight will have some of the division’s best looking closely as they will want to get a piece of the winner. The odds have slightly come down on Navarrete, likely due to his shaky weigh-in and Berinchyk getting support from Ukraine, with unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk also fighting tomorrow.
