PPV.com Releases Gervonta Davis vs Frank Martin PPV Price

As we move closer to the summer months, boxing will begin to heat up, and on June 15, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) will defend his WBA lightweight title against Frank Martin (18-0, 12 KOs). Suppose you are going to watch the event on PPV.com. In that case, they have recently released the price, which is $74.99 here in the U.S.

This will be the third PPV event in less than two months, so it’ll be interesting to see how well it does since the Canelo-Munguia PPV cost consumers a hefty $89.99 and tomorrow’s Fury-Usyk card will cost you $69.99. It’s a lot to ask for from boxing fans, but at the same time, some of the fights they want to see are being made, but they come with a cost.

The bubble has to burst at some point, and the PPV prices must be reevaluated to match what is reasonable within the current economic climate. This won’t change unless fans of the sport stop buying PPVs altogether and force the promoters to figure out something different. The thought was that maybe Prime Video would offer some relief to their subscribers, but that hasn’t happened yet. Netflix’s approach of just going with the stream for their subscribers without any additional costs for Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson may be a sign of hope that other streaming platforms follow suit.

Prime Video has not released the price on their platform, but if it’s anything like their first two PPVs, they will keep it the same as PPV.com.
