Raul Curiel vs Jordan Panthen: New Main Event Announced & Weigh-In Results

The Golden Boy Card on Friday night experienced a shake-up on Thursday as Alexis Rocha was forced to withdraw from the rematch with Raul Curiel (16-0-1, 14 KOs) due to medical issues. Now, Curiel will face middleweight Jordan Panthen (11-1, 9 KOs), who was already scheduled to appear on the card.

Although fans won’t get the Rocha-Curiel rematch, many can argue that Curiel-Panthen is a strong replacement for that fight, as their come forward styles will mesh well on Friday night. It is scheduled for 10 rounds, but there’s doubts that this new main event will go the distance.
