Reality of Wrestling Champion Danny Limelight Fires Shots at Zilla Fatu in Ongoing Feud

The rivalry between Reality of Wrestling (ROW) world champion Danny Limelight and Zilla Fatu has escalated onto social media, with the two exchanging verbal jabs over recent weeks following ROW’s “SubZero” dramatic conclusion.

On December 20, ROW celebrated its 20th anniversary by hosting SubZero, which featured a fatal four-way match between the champion Limelight, Fatu, Will Allday, and Ryan Davidson. In that match, each wrestler had their moments, but things took a turn when Fatu was attacked by Gasper Hernandez just as he was about to finish Limelight. Fatu managed to take out Hernandez, and when he called for his finisher, Fatu was speared by a wrestler wearing a black mask and hoodie. Seizing the opportunity, Limelight executed “give me the loot” on Fatu and pinned him for the three-count. Later, the man behind the mask revealed himself as the one and only former NXT world champion, Ricky Saints.

Ten days after the match, Fatu took to Instagram to try and figure out who orchestrated the attack.

After all of this family drama, I got my last show for 2025 at Reality of Wrestling. And I should’ve known that Danny Limelight and maybe Booker T had something to do with all what happened. I get speared again in my match by an unknown guy. It was Ricky Saints. Ricky Saints, what’s up man; what’s good Use. But yea, I came back home and Ricky Saints just decided to get his hands involved in the main one’s business and I don’t know who sent him.

Never one to hold back his comments, Limelight recently appeared on a live podcast hosted by InfightingFX and shared some choice words for Fatu and his recent social media campaign (Limelight comes in at the 4:08:07 mark).

“I never lie; I keep it all the way 100,” said Limelight. “I came in there as the Reality of Wrestling champion in the last show of the year after I made 2025 my b*tch. I couldn’t go into 2026 without my championship, so I did whatever it took. Honestly, I put belt to ass. Zilla Fatu, Ryan Davidson, Will Allday—they all got this work. They’re going to say I cheated and that I had help.” Limelight added, “Can you cheat in a fatal four-way? They’re just dumb because they didn’t do it. They’re just mad that they didn’t think of it.

Limelight then discussed Fatu’s recent social media posts, where he tries to figure out who was responsible and why it happened.

“Zilla Fatu is all over social media crying, saying that I cheated and had help. It’s so funny that a member of the Samoan Bloodline, a family that literally in the past five years has put food on the table based on the fact that they have all the help, is crying about me having help. Make it make sense. I feel bad for his cameraman who has to follow him around and film all of this sh*t.”

This Limelight-Fatu rivalry is intriguing, and it seems like they have only scratched the surface of their story. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes, as both of these wrestlers have a bright future ahead of them in even brighter lights.
