Roman Reigns returns, Randy Orton Defeats Jimmy Uso & AJ Styles Turns Heel?

The return of Roman Reigns opened the Smackdown telecast as he was talking about Solo being the heir to the throne and not Jimmy Uso, who thought Reigns was talking about him the whole time. Randy Orton interrupted Reigns, and things got tense. Orton made his way to the ring, mocked some of Reigns’ lines against him, and attempted an RKO out of nowhere, but Reigns was able to slip away. The segment ended with Orton taunting Reigns and him being upset with the situation.

Randy Orton started red hot, and while Jimmy Uso was on the defensive, he quickly escaped to the outside and took what he called a time-out. Orton followed Uso outside, scooped him up, and did two side suplexes on the announce table. Reigns would send Jimmy back into the ring and continue his dominance over him.

Jimmy reversed the momentum with a kick to Orton’s way, which was the point in the match where Uso took over. Uso would use his brutality to work on Orton while the crowd booed him. Uso threw Orton outside the ring, and Orton screamed in pain as his left knee seemed injured.

After the break, Orton turned the tide back in his favor and executed his DDT from the middle of the ropes. Orton signaled for the RKO, and just when it would happen, Solo walked to the ring, but then L.A. Knight came right behind him. With Uso distracted, Orton Executed an RKO and pinned Uso for the three count.

Afterward, Roman Reigns hit L.A. Knight from behind and stared at Orton. Reigns would go in the ring and go toe-to-toe with Orton. Uso would hit Orton from behind, and then they would tag team against Orton. Knight would help, but Solo came in and started to beat up on Knight. Just when you thought they were outnumbered, AJ Styles’ music comes on, and then he surprises Reigns by doing a phenomenal forearm. While Orton, Knight & Styles were side by side in the ring, Styles knocked out Knight and walked out of the ring.

Did Styles turn heel? Next week should be interesting, but one thing is for sure: Styles is in phenomenal shape and looks to get another run at whatever the WWE has planned.
