In a highly entertaining fight, Seniesa Estrada (26-0, 9 KOs) became the minimumweight undisputed champion with a unanimous decision victory over Yokasta Valle (30-3, 9 KOs). All three judges were in agreeance as they had it 97-93. Estrada is now the first-ever women’s undisputed champion at minimumweight.

Estrada started quickly and dictated the pace from the beginning of the fight. A clash of heads cut Valle over her right eye. Valle was able to land some solid 1-2 combinations from mid-range, but Estrada’s movement was too much for Valle in the first round. Estrada kept using her movement to make Valle miss in the second round. Valle switched her approach toward the end of the round, which saw her land more punches.

Valle saw success with her 1-2 down the middle as Estrada missed some of her looping shots in the third round. Estrada kept switching from southpaw to orthodox, making it difficult for Valle to set anything up. Valle had a solid round four and landed her left hook consistently, as Estrada had no answer for it. Estrada tried being the aggressor with the high guard, but Valle got the better of the exchanges.
Valle controlled the fifth round as Estrada kept getting caught in between the punches she was throwing. Valle was determined to win the round with her aggressive approach and landed four to five punch combinations. Estrada went to a counter-punching offense in the sixth round, which worked for her. Estrada caught Valle with a few left hooks when Valle missed with her overhand right.

Valle applied smart pressure in the seventh round and landed her straight right hand successfully. Estrada kept using her movement to try to counter-punch, but Valle was able to keep landing her left hooks. Both fighters had their way in the eighth round, resulting in another swing round.
Valle landed a short right hand towards the end of the ninth round, which stunned Estrada. It was the first time in the fight that Estrada looked visibly stunned. Valle had Estrada visibly hurt when she landed a straight right hand down the middle. Valle had her best round in the tenth.
