Boxing returns on a Friday night as women’s WBO light champion Terri Harper (15-2-2, 6 KOs) returns home to Doncaster, U.K., to defend her title in the main event on a fight card hosted by GBM Sports.
Harper will face 42-year-old undefeated contender Natalie Zimmermann (13-0, 3 KOs) in a scheduled ten-round bout. Harper is making her 2025 debut as she went 1-1 last year, with her loss coming against Sandy Ryan in March, where she lost her WBO title. She would win it back against Rhiannon Dixon just six months later via unanimous decision.
Zimmermann also had two fights in 2024, and they were both in Valenciana after a career filled with fights in her native country of Germany. This fight with Harper is her first title shot and will look to make the most of this opportunity even though she is a heavy betting underdog.
