Fresh off a wild debut night for TNA Wrestling on AMC with Thursday Night iMPACT, the wrestling company hosts TNA Genesis on Saturday night, January 17, live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, TX.
On TNA iMPACT, Mike Santana regained the TNA world title by defeating Frankie Kazarian. After the match, Nic Nemeth inserted himself, making Saturday’s rematch between Santana and Kazarian a Texas Death Match with Nemeth as the special guest referee. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds, as Nemeth still has the chance to cash in his shot at the TNA title.
Being the first PPV of 2026 for TNA, they will try to surpass the high expectations set by last year’s Genesis, which left behind a strong reputation as TNA continued to rise, culminating in an exclusive U.S. deal with AMC announced a few months ago. Who will emerge as TNA’s next star on Saturday night?
