Several weeks removed from the TNA Genesis pay-per-view event, Joe Hendry put his TNA World Championship at stake for the second time. Following a successful title defense against Matt Cardona, Jake Something stepped up to become Hendry’s second challenger. Is there still plenty of reason to believe in Joe Hendry, or did Jake Something cut his title run short?
Plus, the final TNA match for Josh Alexander took place in the main event of TNA iMPACT. Alexander met his former friend Eric Young. Was it a fairytale ending for Alexander, or has his TNA run ended in sorrow?

This week’s episode of TNA iMPACT began with the world title match between Joe Hendry and Jake Something. The challenger sunk in a headlock, but Hendry shoved him off and landed a dropkick. The TNA champion then got in a series of shoulder blocks. He went for his signature stalling suplex and he got it. Something finally began turning the tide with a kick to the midsection followed by his own shoulder block. Hendry lifted Something for a scoop slam before the commercial break.
Back from the break, Something pelted Hendry with a massive forearm to the back. The champion went for a sunset flip pin but couldn’t secure the three-count. He then ate a big lariat but got the shoulder up. Something landed a big forearm that dropped Hendry, but the champion powered back and hit the fallaway slam.
Hendry went for the Standing Ovation, but Something rammed him into the corner. The challenger went for Into The Void, but Hendry escaped. Something went high-risk, but he was cut off by Hendry. This allowed the champion to hit a fallaway slam from the top turnbuckle. Hendry then landed the Standing Ovation for the win.

The Rascalz had Wes Lee in the ring alone and hit him with a series of kicks before Dupont entered the ring. Lee then hit the Cardiac Kick on Austin.
