TNA iMPACT 3/13 Recap: ‘Go-Home Show’ Before TNA Sacrifice 2025

The go-home episode of TNA iMPACT before the TNA Sacrifice pay-per-view featured a world title defense from Joe Hendry. The show also had a meeting between Mike Santana and Mustafa Ali for a summit. NXT’s Wes Lee went one-on-one with Laredo Kid, while Cora Jade teamed with Tessa Blanchard to take on TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and Lei Ying Lee.

Eddie Edwards w/Alisha Edwards vs. Leon Slater

Edwards tried attacking Slater from behind, but his opponent leaped over him and delivered a dropkick. Slater was firing up, but Edwards sent him crashing to the mat with a shoulder block. Slater regained momentum with a hurricanrana, sending Edwards outside the ring.

Slater’s arm was being targeted by Edwards. Slater went shoulder-first into the ring steps. Edwards caught his opponent in an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Slater finally gained some offense by executing an arm drag followed by a reverse enzuigiri. Edwards got back up to his feet, but he went back down to the canvas after Slater landed a springboard crossbody. Slater was caught in a Blue Thunder Bomb but kicked out before the three-count. Edwards was dropped by a leg lariat.

Slater went up the top rope, but Edwards cut him off. Slater knocked Edwards back down but missed the Swanton 450. Slater accidentally went into the ring post. Edwards took advantage with the Boston Knee Party for the win.

Sami Callihan Reminds Mance Warner Who He Is

Sami Callihan and Mance Warner went face-to-face. Callihan can’t touch Warner, or his TNA contract will be terminated. Callihan must wait for TNA Sacrifice to get his hands on Warner.

Wes Lee w/Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont vs. Laredo Kid

Lee was taken down with a hurricanrana. Kid kicked Lee and landed a springboard moonsault outside the ring. Kid went up the top turnbuckle and connected with a crossbody for a two-count. Lee sent his opponent’s head crashing into the middle turnbuckle. Lee risked disqualification with a foot choke. The NXT star hit a dropkick to the back of Kid’s neck.

Kid went high-risk, but Lee crotched him. He then landed a brainbuster on Kid for a near fall. Kid scored with an open-palm strike followed by a neckbreaker. He hit a Superman forearm, followed by a spitdown driver and two corkscrew splashes. Kid went for another Superman forearm, but Lee moved out of the way. He then scored the Cardiac Kick for the win.

Winner: Wes Lee

After the match, The Rascalz and Ace Austin made their way out. Trey Miguel said they actually waited for Lee to finish his match because they aren’t cowards. Miguel warned Lee, Igwe, and Dupont to prepare them for the next 24 hours. Zachary Wentz said he’ll finish the rivalry with Lee at TNA Sacrifice.

Santino Marella Books The Personal Concierge for TNA Sacrifice

After The Personal Concierge bailed Ash and Heather by Elegance out of Spitfire’s personal demands, Santino Marella booked him in a tag team handicap match at TNA Sacrifice. The Personal Concierge will team with Ash and Heather by Elegance against Spitfire.

Xia Brookside vs. Rosemary

Rosemary kicked Brookside in the corner. She locked up a bulldog choke, but Brookside rammed her into the turnbuckle. Rosemary used her legs to choke her opponent over the top rope. Rosemary went high-risk, but Brookside cut her off. Back in the ring, Brookside hit Broken Wings, followed by a crossbody and a head kick. Rosemary pulled out a chain, but Brookside stopped her and took the chain. Brookside wrapped the chain around her fist. Rosemary spat mist in Brookside’s eyes, and she was disqualified.

Steve Maclin Still Out on Eric Young’s Alliance With The Northern Armory

Maclin said he stands by not being involved with EY as long as he’s with The Northern Armory. Young said he’s concerned that their paths will cross in the ring in the future. Maclin said that this had already happened before, and the two gained respect for one another. He insisted that he would not be involved in EY’s current business.

JDC vs. Cody Deaner

Before the match began, Deaner said he’s had the most fun he’s ever had in pro wrestling thanks to the fans. Deaner said he can’t wait to beat a member of The System. JDC took the mic and said people don’t care about Deaner. He told his opponent to leave the ring and take the loss like a man.

Deaner pretended to leave the ring but said it was the fans’ choice. Deaner nailed JDC with a right hand to begin the match. It didn’t take long for JDC to send Deaner crashing to the top turnbuckle. Deaner went for a DDT, but JDC countered. Deaner went for a clothesline, but JDC ducked, and he almost caught the referee. JDC raked Deaner’s eyes and hit the Falcon Arrow for the win.

Masha Slamovich and Lei Ying Lee vs. Tessa Blanchard and Cora Jade

NXT’s Arianna Grace was out for special guest commentary duties. Jade wanted no part of Slamovich to start the match and tagged in Blanchard. Slamovich was slapped in the face by Blanchard. The TNA Knockouts Champion delivered a big boot, followed by a clothesline.

Jade reluctantly tagged back in. She wanted Lei Ying Lee, and Slamovich obliged. Ying kept her grounded until Jade delivered a forearm. Jade connected with a gut-wrench suplex for a near fall. Blanchard was tagged in. She had some double-team offense with Jade, as both women hit Ying in the corner with high knees. Both Jade and Ying took each other out with clotheslines.

Slamovich and Blanchard were in. The TNA Knockouts Champion took out both of her opponents. She went for Requiem, but Blanchard got out of it. Blanchard went for a cutter but ate a big boot instead. Ying planted Jade to the mat, but Blanchard took her out with Magnum. Slamovich took out Blanchard with a running knee strike.

Blanchard raked the eyes of Slamovich and went for Buzzsaw, but Ying hit her with Thunderstruck. Jade nailed Slamovich with the TNA Knockouts Championship when the referee was distracted. Blanchard recovered and hit Buzzsaw on Slamovich for the win.

Mike Santana and Mustafa Ali Meet at Summit

Tom Hannifan announced that Santana vs. Ali is set for TNA Sacrifice 2025. During the summit, Ali insisted he had no issue with Santana. He said the bigger picture is him leading TNA Wrestling, not Santana. He doesn’t think Santana can handle the pressure of being TNA’s top guy.

Santana said he’s been dealing with pressure his entire life. He talked about his wins over Moose and Josh Alexander. Ali scoffed at Santana’s words. He claimed if Santana were to become the TNA World Champion, he’d let everyone down because he’s a liability and an addict. Santana told Ali he’s full of it. He said Ali isn’t in TNA for the fans, the locker room, or the company. Santana said he is an addict, but it’s for TNA fans and the wrestling industry.

Ali said there was too much tension. He then pulled out a glass alcohol bottle. Santana took off his sunglasses. Ali said Santana will lose, and then he’s going to break and return to alcoholism. Ali said Santana will let his own kids down. A fight broke out, and it ended with Ali and The Good Hands attacking Santana. Ali left a glass of alcohol for Santana before walking off.

TNA World Championship Match: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Ryan Nemeth

Before the match, Hendry asked Santino Marella to make his way out to announce his opponent. Ryan Nemeth made his way out. Nemeth claimed his brother Nic allowed him to take his rematch clause. Hendry hit Standing Ovation immediately and scored the win. Hendry is still the TNA World Champion, perhaps in record time.

Marella said Nemeth wasn’t the actual opponent. Hendry’s real challenger is the returning Hammerstone.

TNA World Championship Match: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Hammerstone

The two got into a shoving match before exchanging chops. The challenger bulldozed Hendry with a shoulder block. Hendry caught Hammerstone’s wrist with a high knee. The champion went for his stalling vertical suplex, but Hammerstone sent him crashing into the ring post.

Hendry charged in, but Hammerstone sent him crashing down with a release spinebuster. The challenger connected with a single-leg dropkick. Hendry rebounded by hitting a stalling vertical suplex on Hammerstone. The champion dropped his opponent with a fallaway slam. He went for Standing Ovation, but Hammerstone looked to power out of it. Hendry got caught in a release t-bone suplex, followed by a powerslam for a near fall.

Hammerstone transitioned from a powerbomb pin attempt to a Boston crab submission. The champion got his hand on the bottom rope to break up the hold. The challenger went for Nightmare Pendulum, but Hendry went for a small package pin for a close two-count. The champion hit a German suplex, followed by an AA. Hammerstone got caught in Standing Ovation. Hendry has once again retained the TNA World Championship.

After the match, The System and The Colons attacked Hendry. The Hardys, Elijah, and Leon Slater ran down to even the odds. All men brawled in and out of the ring to end the show.
