TNA iMPACT 3/6 Recap: Major Stipulation Added to TNA Sacrifice, Moose Puts Down Oba Femi

One week before the big TNA Sacrifice pay-per-view, TNA iMPACT returned to Full Sail University. Oba Femi and Moose met face-to-face ahead of their NXT Championship showdown at WWE Roadblock. By the end of the night, a major stipulation was added to a TNA Sacrifice match.

Elijah vs. Brian Myers w/Alisha Edwards

Elijah immediately went after Myers. Myers eventually put him down with a back suplex. Elijah hit a suplex of his own. Eddie Edwards tried interfering in the match, but Myers accidentally knocked him off the apron. Elijah hit his finishing move for the win.

Winner: Elijah

After the match, Edwards attacked Elijah from behind. JDC ran down to make the assault worse, but Joe Hendry cleared the ring. Gia Miller interviewed The Rascalz and Ace Austin. Austin addressed his past issues with Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz.

First Class Penthouse Returns

KC Navarro said he was still hurting from Steve Maclin. Maclin made his way out. He snatched the mic from Navarro and said both he and Francis talk too much. Maclin said Francis is a “Temu Suge Knight.” Francis said he needed 30 minutes to meet Maclin in the ring.

Xia Brookside vs. Savannah Evans

Rosemary was spectating the match in the crowd. Evans locked in a sleeper hold before switching to a bearhug. Brookside slipped out and locked in an octopus stretch. Evans faked a knee injury and hit Brookside with a lariat from behind for the win.

Winner: Savannah Evans

Spitfire Gives Ash and Heather by Elegance Makeovers

Spitfire woke up Ash and Heather by Elegance and gave them makeovers. The Concierge looked on in horror.

Mike Santana vs. John Skyler w/Jason Hotch

Santana hit Skyler with a cannonball in the corner. He followed up with a sit-out powerbomb and scored the pin.

Winner: Mike Santana

After the match, Jason Hotch tried to hit Santana from behind with the ringbell hammer. Santana nailed him with Spin The Block.Santana was going to hit Hotch with the hammer, but he was interrupted by Mustafa Ali on the big screen. Ali claimed Santana is subject to a urine test to prove he’s alcohol-free. A man claiming to be a drug tester gave Santana a cup. Santana slapped the cup out of the man’s hand.

Steve Maclin vs. AJ Francis w/KC Navarro

Francis launched Maclin off the top turnbuckle. Maclin regained momentum and knocked KC Navarro off the ring apron. Francis went for Down Payment, but The Northern Armory interfered. Maclin told Eric Young and The Northern Armory that he didn’t want their help. Francis took advantage and hit Down Payment on Maclin to score the pinfall.

Ryan Nemeth Rejected Before TNA Sacrifice

Ryan Nemeth walked in on The Hardys, Joe Hendry, Elijah, and Leon Slater. Ryan insisted that he was on their team for TNA Sacrifice. Matt Hardy had a Facetime session with Nic Nemeth to tell him that they want him to be their final partner, not Ryan

Steve Maclin Confronts The Northern Armory

Maclin was backstage, and he shoved Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. Eric Young told Maclin to calm down. Maclin said he trusts EY but doesn’t trust aligning with The Northern Armory.

Oba Femi and Moose Exchange Words

Moose was out with The System and security guards. Femi questioned why Moose chose to fight him now. Moose said he was waiting for Femi to win the NXT Championship so that he could pick his spot. Femi said Moose has been dominant, but none of his victims are him. Moose vowed to become the face of Femi’s franchise.

Femi dared Moose to have security removed from the ring. JDC offered the security guards a spot in The System if they could take out Femi. The guards went after Femi, but the NXT Champion cleaned house. Femi tossed one security guard into a group of others. The System attacked Femi. The TNA X Division Champion accidentally kicked one of the members of The System. It didn’t matter because Moose hit a Spear on Femi.

Fraxiom Vows to Win TNA Tag Team Titles

Nathan Frazer and Axiom made it clear that they plan to defeat The Hardys at WWE Roadblock. They would make history by holding NXT and TNA gold simultaneously.

The Northern Armory vs. Ace Austin and The Rascalz

The Rascalz were on a roll, getting the better of Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. Eric Young attacked them from behind. The Rascals and Ace Austin landed stereo suicide dives on all members of The Northern Armory. Williams kept Zachary Wentz grounded until he was popped by a high knee. Austin went for the tag, but Young and Icarus yanked Trey Miguel and Austin off the ring apron.

Austin turned things around and hit a leg drop on Icarus. He landed a spin kick on Icarus before Young got a tag and hit a clothesline on Austin. Young went high-risk but missed a moonsault. Wentz pulled down Icarus and Williams off the ring apron. Miguel was tagged in, and he hit a hurricanrana on Young. The Rascalz hit a double-team move in homage to The Motor City Machine Guns. The pin was broken. A distraction from Wes Lee, Tyriek Igwe, and Tyson Dupont led to Eric Young hitting a piledriver on Miguel for the win.

Mike Santana Confronts Santino Marella

Mike Santana was none too pleased with Santino Marella over having to do a mandatory drug test. Santino insisted the decision went above his head. Santana then saw Tasha Steelz demanding that someone make Mustafa Ali’s coffee perfectly. Santana grabbed the coffee and had devious plans.

Spitfire’s Fun With Ash and Heather by Elegance is Over

Spitfire put Heather and Ash by Elegance through more torture in the gym. The Concierge distracted Spitfire, allowing Heather and Ash by Elegance to attack Spitfire and escape.

Masha Slamovich Attacked by Tessa Blanchard

Masha Slamovich was out, and she warned Cora Jade that she was in for a fight at TNA Sacrifice. Jade made her way out and claimed that Slamovich is overhyped. She vowed to take Slamovich’s title at TNA Sacrifice. Slamovich said Jade will be exposed for not being able to handle a real fighter. Tessa Blanchard attacked Slamovich from behind. Jade got in on the ambush. Lei Ying Lee made the save, sending Jade and Blanchard out of the ring

Mustafa Ali Gets Coffee Surprise

Mustafa Ali was informed by Tasha Steelz that Mike Santana passed his drug test. Ali drank his coffee and nearly vomited.

The Hardys vs. The Colons

The Hardys landed back elbows on Orlando Colon. They then sent Eddie Colon out of the ring with a double hip toss. Matt rammed Eddie’s head on each of the turnbuckles in the corner. Matt charged in, but Orlando pulled his brother out of the way.

The Colons kept Matt grounded before “The Charismatic Enigma” was tagged in. Jeff and Matt Hardy hit The Plot Twist, but The System interfered. This one was over via disqualification

Winners by DQ: The Hardys

After the match, Joe Hendry, Elijah, and Leon Slater ran down to chase off The System. Santino Marella was out and said things were getting out of hand. He said at TNA Sacrifice, there will be no outside interference because the 10-man tag team match will be held inside a steel cage.
