TNA iMPACT was live from the Bren Events Center in Irvine on Thursday. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry was in action, teaming with The Hardys to take on Frankie Kazarian and the newly minted TNA World Tag Team Champions Nic and Ryan Nemeth.
Joe Hendry Calls Out Trick Williams
Hendry was greeted with chants of “Happy Birthday.” He said it’s because of the fans that a kid from Scotland became the TNA World Champion and wrestled Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. Hendry called out Trick Williams, and Williams’ music played. It was a ruse, as Williams appeared via satellite and said he wasn’t in the building. Hendry said if Williams is too scared to face him, it’s fine because the show must go on.
Zachary Wentz Wants TNA Gold
Gia Miller interviewed The Rascalz fresh off their victory at “TNA Rebellion.” Zachary Wentz vowed to pin Moose and become the TNA X Division Champion.

Sami Callihan and Mance Warner End Beef … For Now
Santino Marella tried playing peacemaker for Sami Callihan and Mance Warner, who was with Steph De Lander. Callihan said he doesn’t trust Warner but admits they created something special together at TNA Unbreakable. Warner said Callihan was right. The two reluctantly shook hands. Callihan said they’re done for now.
Mike Santana vs. Isaiah Moore
Santana went to fire up the crowd early, but Moore tried surprising him with a pin attempt. Santana leaped over his opponent and hit a Death Valley Driver, followed by a cannonball. Santana then drove Moore to the mat with a sitout powerbomb for the quick win.

Santana grabbed the mic and said he climbed the mountain at TNA Rebellion by defeating Mustafa Ali. Santana turned his attention to Hendry. He gave the TNA World Champion respect, but he said he wanted the title. He said from here on, he’s on the road to a world championship.
The Northern Armory Ambushes Steve Maclin
Maclin would address his former friend Eric Young and the rest of The Northern Armory attacking him at TNA Rebellion. Before the TNA International Champion could get in the ring, he was attacked from behind by The Northern Armory. Young choked Maclin with a chain inside the ring. The Northern Armory chained Maclin to the rope before TNA security ran down. Young held up Maclin’s title and tossed it to the ground.

Steve Maclin and Eric Young Collide Next Week
Santino Marella scolded Young and The Northern Armory backstage. Maclin appeared and looked to attack his rivals, but TNA security held him back. Marella then booked a rematch between Maclin and Young for next week.
Moose (c) w/ Alisha Edwards vs. Zachary Wentz w/Trey Miguel – For The TNA X Division Championship
Wentz hit a hurricanrana, followed by a basement dropkick. He then went high-risk and hit a missile dropkick. Moose was taken out by a twisting plancha before a commercial break. The challenger landed a kick combination, but he was cut off by a chokeslam. Moose used the ring post to deliver a surfboard stretch on Wentz. The champion then delivered a scoop slam onto the floor.
Wentz landed a springboard high knee. He landed his signature kick from the apron, followed by a moonsault outside of the ring. Wentz landed a corkscrew crossbody for a near fall. The champion spiked Wentz with a pop-up powerbomb, but the challenger kicked out of a pin attempt.
Moose scaled the top rope and landed a crossbody. He went for another powerbomb, but Wentz countered with a sunset flip bomb for a two-count. Moose went for a spear, but he was countered with the X-Factor. Wentz then hit a spiral tap. Alisha grabbed Wentz’s leg for a distraction. Moose then hit a spear and scored the win.

Mustafa Ali Might Snap
Gia Miller tried getting a word in with Mustafa Ali, who looked disheveled. One of the members of The Great Handz said Ali hasn’t been the same since “TNA Rebellion.” He vowed that Ali will “destroy everything.”
Cody Deaner’s Last Stand
Cody Deaner said his TNA contract will expire at midnight. Deaner said he wanted nothing more than to be a professional wrestler. He said people doubted him, but now he can say he’s a proud professional wrestler, a proud husband, and a proud father
Deaner said TNA is the one company that gave him a chance. He said that if this were the end of his run at TNA, then he would thank the fans for everything. Santino Marella was out and said he could extend Deaner’s contract all the way to TNA Under Siege. Marella said if Deaner could defeat Eddie Edwards, then he’d have a good case to extend Deaner’s contract.
Santino Marella Under Review
Robert Stone of WWE NXT and Victoria Crawford then showed up. Stone told Santino that he’s under review. He claimed TNA needs a leader, and he fits that bill. He claimed the higher-ups at TNA had put him in charge of watching over Santino. Stone then revealed Crawford has a TNA Knockouts Championship match against Masha Slamovich at “Under Siege.” Stone vowed to watch Santino closely. Santino argued with Stone backstage. Tessa Blanchard then suggested that it’s time for Stone to clean up the mess that Santino made.
Jodi Threat w/Dani Luna vs. Maggie Lee
Threat landed a seated senton on Lee. Later on in the match, she delivered a German suplex. Threat went for Pop Shove-It, but Lee raked the eyes. Threat was planted with a cutter. Lee was dropped with Pop Shove-It, and Threat got the win. Commentator Tom Hannifan noted that Lee didn’t get any help from the Elegance brand.

Maggie Lee Getting a Makeover
Heather and Ash by Elegance approached Maggie Lee backstage. They said she needed a makeover to match the Elegance brand.
Indi Hartwell Crosses The Line
Gia Miller interviewed Indi Hartwell in front of the live crowd. Hartwell talked about being a longtime fan of TNA Wrestling. She made it clear that she signed with TNA Wrestling to achieve lofty goals.
Leon Slater vs. KC Navarro w/AJ Francis
AJ Francis tried interfering in the match, but he was quickly ejected. Navarro hit a DDT for a near fall. Slater caught his opponent with a big boot, followed by a twisting suplex. Navarro moved out of the way of Big Play Slater, but Slater landed on his feet and landed a leg lariat. Inside the ring, Slater connected with the Swanton 450. This was an emphatic win for Slater.
Winner: Leon Slater
Masha Slamovich Addresses Victoria Crawford
Slamovich responded to Crawford challenging her for the TNA Knockouts Championship at TNA Under Siege. She said Crawford has done nothing in the wrestling business over the last few years except stick her nose in her business. She vowed to show Crawford that she’s the gold standard of the TNA Knockouts division.
Joe Hendry And The Hardys vs. Frankie Kazarian And The Nemeth Brothers
It didn’t take long for Hendry and The Hardys to get some offense going. They knocked all of their opponents outside of the ring and posed before a commercial break.
Kazarian and The Nemeth Brothers gained control by keeping Hendry grounded. Ryan went for a suplex on Hendry, but the TNA World Champion dropped him with a suplex of his own. Matt Hardy then drove Kazarian head into the turnbuckles multiple times. Matt attempted the Twist of Fate, but Ryan shoved him into Kazarian, who nailed Matt with a right hand and a leg drop. Kazarian mocked The Hardys, but he was dropped by a Russian leg sweep. Jeff was tagged in, and he landed an elbow drop on Nic.
Jeff then hit a dropkick in the corner. His Twist of Fate was countered into a pin attempt. The Hardys landed Poetry in Motion. Matt hit the Side Effect, and Jeff followed up with a splash, but Kazarian broke up the pin. Hendry had fallaway slams for Kazarian and The Nemeth Brothers. Kazarian tried hitting Hendry with one-half of the TNA Tag Team Championship, but he missed, and Matt landed Twist of Fate. Trick Williams then appeared and dragged Hendry out of the ring.
Ryan shoved Jeff off the top turnbuckle. Nic landed Danger Zone on Jeff and scored the pin.
Winners: The Nemeth Brothers and Frankie Kazarian
Williams hit Trick Shot on Hendry after the match. TNA iMPACT ended with Williams standing tall over Hendry once again.
