With TNA Wrestling on the road to “Slammiversary 2025,” the company wrapped up another episode of “TNA iMPACT!” Featured on the show was a special champion’s challenge featuring the team of TNA World Champion Trick Williams, TNA X Division Champion Moose, The Nemeths, and Steve Maclin. They took on Joe Hendry, Elijah, Leon Slater, and The Rascalz.
Sami Callihan vs. Eric Young w/The Northern Armory
Callihan immediately took out Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. He then grabbed a steel chair and went to hit Young with it, but he was cut off. Young tried injuring Callihan’s hand, but his chair only caught the steps. Callihan then took out Young with a clothesline.
Eventually, The Northern Armory attacked Callihan outside of the ring. Young bit Callihan’s head in the corner. He went high-risk, but Callihan caught him with a forearm. Callihan went for a Cactus Piledriver ‘97, but Young raked his eyes. Callihan dropped his opponent with a flatliner.
Young rebounded with an elbow drop for a near fall. Callihan grabbed ahold of the Young family jewels before planting him down to the canvas. Callihan set up for the Cactus Piledriver ‘97, but Icarus delivered a chair shot when the referee was distracted. Young then hit a piledriver for the win.
Winner: Eric Young
Joe Hendry and His Team Are Fired Up
Gia Miller interviewed Joe Hendry, Elijah, Leon Slater, and The Rascalz. Hendry admitted it’s been a tough few weeks for both him and TNA Wrestling. Elijah vowed to teach Trick Williams and his team a lesson tonight. Leon Slater was focused on taking out the champions in the Champions Challenge.
The Rascalz said they wanted all the smoke, but they wondered whether or not they should whoop Steve Maclin in the match. Ultimately, they decided that Maclin could get a beating too.
Order 4 Summit Goes Wrong
Mustafa Ali was in the ring to evaluate each member of Order 4. Ali brought Tasha Steelz into the ring. He said Steelz has done an “awful” job protecting his name. He mentioned Steelz’s numerous phone calls with a mystery man. Ali demanded that Steelz hand over her phone before warning her to never talk to the man again.
Ali then told Steelz to apologize to him for lying about her calls. Steelz obliged, and her apology was accepted. Ali then evaluated Jason Hotch and called him the “biggest idiot” he’s ever met in his life. Ali reminded Hotch that he’s the one who puts food on his Order 4 member’s table. He then told Hotch to apologize on behalf of his wife and daughter. Ali then accepted Hotch’s apology.
John Skyler was then called into the ring. Skyler then snatched the mic from Ali. He then told Ali the consequences of his action. Skyler said Ali is acting like a “jackass.” Ali called Skyler the weakest link of Order 4. Ali demanded that Skyler get on his hands and knees and apologize. Skyler refused and shoved Ali down to the mat.
Ali said Skyler made the biggest mistake of his life. He then challenged Skyler in a “Call to Arms” match.
Killer Kelly’s Message for Masha Slamovich
Killer Kelly spoke backstage and said she was away from action in order to heal. She looked back on her old team with Masha Slamovich. She said Slamovich turned on her, yet the fans cheered her on. She wants to take the TNA Knockouts Championship from her former friend.
Masha Slamovich and Lei Ying Lee vs. Heather and Ash by Elegance w/M by Elegance and The Personal Concierge
Ash took too much time dancing, and Lee was right behind her. Heather was tagged in, and she ducked a spin kick. Ash tagged back in, and she wanted Slamovich. She was double-teamed before Slamovich took her down with a clothesline.
The Elegance Brand finally gained control before Lee dropped Heather with a modified neckbreaker. Heather prevented Lee from taking in Slamovich and stomped her in the midsection. Lee caught one of the stomps and dropped Heather before tagging Slamovich in.
Slamovich hit a knee in the corner. She then scored a clothesline into a DDT combination on both of her opponents. Outside of the ring, Heather threw glitter in Lee’s face and sent her crashing into the ring post. Back in the ring, Slamovich and Ash were fighting on the turnbuckle when Killer Kelly made her way out. The distraction allowed Ash to hit Rarified Air for the surprising pin.
Winners: Heather and Ash by Elegance
Gia Miller got a word from The IInspiration. Jessica McKay said she and Cassie Lee made the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship what it is today. Lee said it’s time for the Elegance Brand to be inspired.
Tommy Dreamer Gets Unexpected Backup
Santino Marella announced that Mike Santana will face AJ Francis in a street fight next week. He then asked Tommy Dreamer to make his way out. Marella said that if Dreamer wants to settle things with Mance Warner following last week’s incident, he’ll make it happen.
Mance Warner made his entrance with Steph de Lander. Warner was looking for a fight, but Dreamer said it wasn’t his place to handle business in the right at this time. Instead, Jake Something made a surprise appearance, fighting Mance Warner off.
History Between Tessa Blanchard and Indi Hartwell
Indi Hartwell asked Tessa Blanchard if she had an issue with her. Blanchard questioned if Hartwell forgot that she slept on her couch once. She said Hartwell’s rise began off the back of her hard work. Hartwell said she wanted to believe that Blanchard is a good person, but she’s been proving everyone right. Blanchard stormed off.
Matt Cardona and The Hometown Man vs. Eddie Edwards and JDC
JDC demanded that The Hometown Man get tagged in, and Cardona obliged. He got the better of JDC before Cardona was tagged back in and dove on Edwards outside of the ring. Alisha Edwards grabbed Cardona’s leg, which allowed The System to gain an advantage. The Hometown Man was back, and he landed a bulldog into a clothesline on both JDC and Edwards. Brian Myers interfered, which distracted The Hometown Man. Edwards went to unmask The Hometown Man, but he got caught in a roll-up pin.
Winners: The Hometown Man and Matt Cardona
After the match, The System continued beating down The Hometown Man. Cardona and Myers had a staredown before JDC and Edwards attacked Cardona. Myers did not touch Cardona during the post-match beatdown.
Champions Challenge: Trick Williams, Moose, The Nemeths, and Steve Maclin vs. Joe Hendry, Elijah, Leon Slater, and The Rascalz
Frankie Kazarian joined the commentary desk for the match. Elijah and Nic Nemeth got the match started. Nic delivered a dropkick to Elijah, but he was hit with a jumping clothesline. Elijah walked the top rope and delivered the double knees.
Nic tagged Maclin in, and there was tension between the two. Maclin and Zachary Wentz then shared the ring. Trey Miguel was tagged in. Maclin went to tag himself out, but no one wanted the tag. Maclin then forced a tag on Ryan and dragged him into the ring.
The Rascalz landed a double-team dropkick on Ryan. Williams was then tagged in, but The Rascalz double-teamed him. Outside of the ring, Miguel and Wentz hit double moonsaults on Williams and Moose. Nic crotched Miguel on the top turnbuckle, allowing Moose to hit a spear.
Slater was in, and he landed a hurricanrana on Moose. He then took out Ryan with a handspring back elbow. Maclin then got off the apron when Moose looked for a tag. Williams tagged in Maclin, but Ryan tagged himself back in immediately.
With the referee distracted, Moose choked Slater in the corner. Slater went for the tag, but Moose caught him. He made the tag to Hendry, but the referee didn’t see it, thanks to a distraction from The Nemeths. Slater countered the spear with a rollup for a close two-count.
Things broke down between Maclin and The Nemeths. Nic delivered a superkick to Maclin. Hendry was tagged in, and he landed a fallaway slam on Nic. Hendry and Williams had a staredown in the ring before trading strikes. Hendry then landed another fallaway slam.
Hendry attempted Standing Ovation, but Ryan disrupted the move. Hendry landed a double clothesline on The Nemeths before tagging Elijah in. Ryan went high-risk, but Elijah caught him with a flying knee. Slater was taken out by a Trick Kick, but Hendry clotheslined him out of the ring.
Ryan grabbed the TNA International Championship, but Maclin snatched his title back and nailed Nic with it. Inside the ring, Hendry landed Standing Ovation on Ryan. Elijah then connected with a Tombstone for the win.
