Four days removed from “Bound For Glory 2026,” the post-PPV edition of “TNA Thursday Night iMPACT” aired from the Dothan Civic Center in Alabama. It was celebration time for Leon Slater, who became the youngest TNA world titleholder in the company’s history this past Sunday. Also, TNA honored 35 years of The Hardys.

The Hardys Are in Charge

Matt and Jeff Hardy kicked off TNA’s first show since “Bound For Glory.” The Hardys were tasked with being in charge of “TNA Thursday Night iMPACT” for one evening only. Jeff announced that Nic Nemeth will be facing his brother Ryan. If either man attempts to intentionally throw the match, the brothers will be stripped of the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

Matt then revealed that syX will be facing The Righteous in a tables match. He also revealed that Indi Hartwell will team with Gabby Forza and Harley Hudson to take on Xia Brookside, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Serrano. The Hardys then welcomed newly minted TNA X Division Champion Amazing Red to the ring.

Red said this isn’t about him because it’s about The Hardys, and he congratulated them on being the GOATs. Matt then brought out TNA World Champion Leon Slater. The top male titleholder in TNA put over The Hardys and Red as industry pioneers. Slater admitted he doubted himself prior to “Bound For Glory,” but he talked it over with his mother, which helped him push forward this past Sunday.

Slater said he’s willing to take on any challenger. Jeff was quick to throw his name in the hat, but Matt assured Slater that neither Hardy brother will be booking themselves in a title match tonight. Matt then announced a No. 1 contender ladder match for a shot at Slater’s TNA World Championship. Whoever wins the ladder match will get the title shot at “Destination X.”
