One week after Elijah sealed the guitar case casket door shut on Mustafa Ali, a new episode of TNA “iMPACT” aired on AMC. The show featured some words from Steve Maclin, who spoke his mind during an interview with commentator Tom Hannifan. Also, Mickie James and Ash by Elegance met face-to-face.
Mike Santana and Leon Slater vs. The Nemeth Brothers
Frankie Kazarian was a guest commentator for the match. Leon Slater and Nic Nemeth tied up early on. Ryan Nemeth was tagged in, and he delivered a kick to the midsection. Nic was back in, but he got nailed by a reverse enzuigiri. Slater then sent Ryan out of the ring.
Slater took out The Nemeth Brothers with a dive outside of the ring. Santana landed a double-foot stomp to the arm of Nic. Santana knocked Ryan off the apron, but Nic delivered a superkick to the TNA World Champion. Later on in the match, Slater went for the Swanton 450 on Nic, but Eric Young ran down to taunt the TNA X Division Champion.
The distraction allowed Nic to get his knees up when Slater attempted the move. This allowed Nic to score the pin.
Winners: The Nemeth Brothers
The Righteous Want The Hardys to Trust Them
Gia Miller interviewed The Righteous for their thoughts on the main event, eight-man tag team match. Vincent said The Hardys don’t want to get close due to the miscue at “No Surrender.” Vincent said The System abandons people, but they will not. They urged The Hardys to trust them.
Dani Luna vs. Lei Ying Lee w/Xia Brookside
Lei Ying Lee took Dani Luna down and landed some punches. Luna returned fire before the two stood back up. Lee tripped her opponent and landed a knee to the jaw. Lee was caught in a neck crank before Luna lifted her up and slammed her down to the mat.
Luna went for a stalling suplex, but Lee countered with a roll-up for a near fall. The former TNA Knockouts World Champion sunk in a guillotine. Luna powered out of it with a vertical suplex. Luna then grabbed a steel chain from under the ring. Lee grabbed Luna, but she was slammed on the bottom turnbuckle.
Luna wrapped the chain around the top turnbuckle. She tried driving Lee into it, but her opponent delivered a series of kicks. Lee connected with a superkick. Lee hit 10 punches in the corner, followed by a suplex for a two-count. Luna delivered a big boot while Lee was on the apron. Luna went for a deadlift German suplex, but she settled for a blue thunder bomb.
Lee missed a kick and got caught in a sleeper hold. She escaped with a pin attempt. Lee went for a pin, but she was sent headfirst into the chained buckle. Luna followed up with a German suplex, followed by the Luna Landing for the win.

Moose Convinces Alisha Edwards to Stay
Alisha Edwards met up with Tommy Dreamer and Carlos Silva. She grabbed the contract extension she was offered and initially declined. Moose then walked in and said he thinks it’s a bad idea. He called Edwards the first lady of TNA. Moose suggested that Edwards sign the deal and offered her to be his manager. Edwards ultimately signed the extension.
AJ Francis vs. Mance Warner w/Steph de Lander
Mance Warner and AJ Francis immediately got the action started. Warner shoved Francis into the ring steps. Warner then went for a piledriver on the steps, but Francis fought out of it and tossed him off the steps. Back in the ring, Francis delivered a back elbow in the corner before hitting a splash.
Francis went for Tennessee Whiskey, and he got it. Francis then taunted Steph de Lander. Warner popped his opponent with a forearm and then a big boot. Warner paid homage to Dusty Rhodes with a Bionic Elbow. He then drove Francis face-first on the mat for a two-count. Francis cut Warner off with TFL for a near fall. Francis grabbed a chair from under the ring, but de Lander grabbed the weapon, which was sent right to Warner. Francis got the disqualification win when Warner delivered several chair shots.

Ash by Elegance Reaches New Low at Expense of Mickie James
Mickie James said she caught wind of Ash by Elegance’s words on commentary last week. She dared Ash to get in the ring before The Personal Concierge attempted an intro. Ash then stormed out and claimed the people in Nashville paid to see her. She called James irrelevant and washed up.
James said she thought Ash was a friend. She reminded Ash that she was the one who got her a spot on the TNA roster. Ash claimed she was already scouted by TNA before James made the call. She questioned if Ash was a mark for starting beef with former TNA Knockouts World Champions.
James said when the fans gave her a chance to turn over a new leaf, she blew it. James scolded Ash for disrespecting the Knockouts. Ash claimed she was better than James. The two nearly came to blows before The Elegance Brand intimidated James’ son backstage. This lured James into an ambush by The Elegance Brand. Ash then took out James with a DDT on the ramp.
Santino Marella Blamed by Daria Rae Yet Again
Jody Threat was seen unconscious in the locker room. Myla Grace and Harley Hudson pulled in Santino Marella for help. Daria Rae scolded Marella for the chaotic nature backstage in TNA Wrestling. Rae continued cutting Marella off when he tried talking.
Tasha Steelz w/The Great Hands vs. Jada Stone
Tasha Steelz delivered a clothesline to Jada Stone before the bell rang. Stone was stomped in the corner. Stone fired off forearms before delivering a kick to Steelz. She then connected with a shotgun dropkick. The Great Hands tried comforting Steelz. Stone went for a suicide dive, but The Great Hands caught her. Steelz tried capitalizing with her own suicide dive, but she accidentally took out Jason Hotch and John Skyler. Stone then took everyone out with a moonsault off the apron.
Steelz landed a big boot on her opponent. She then delivered a suplex to Stone outside of the ring. Back in the ring, the two engaged in a pin struggle before Stone landed a superkick. Steelz was planted by a slingblade. Stone ran into a German suplex.
Stone used a handstand to block a cutter and cradled Steelz for the win.
Winner: Jada Stone
The Great Hands tossed Stone back in the ring, allowing Steelz to hit a cutter on Stone after the match.
Steve Maclin Betrays Tom Hannifan
Tom Hannifan was in the ring, and he welcomed Steve Maclin to the ring. As Maclin made his way down, he was surrounded by TNA security. Hannifan said he stuck his neck out for the interview with Maclin and asked him for the truth behind his ambushes on Mike Santana. Maclin said this isn’t about Santana. He said for once it’s about him. The fans in Nashville tried drowning Maclin out. Maclin berated the fans for saying they don’t care and chanting for him to leave TNA Wrestling. Maclin called Santana the most selfish person in TNA.
Maclin then told the fans to “shut the hell up.” He claimed Santana broke their brotherhood a long time ago. Hannifan questioned why Maclin doesn’t hold himself accountable. Maclin revealed he was upset with Santana, who couldn’t show up for a tag match with him because he was going through some issues and had to go to a meeting.
Maclin said he never talks about his own personal problems. He then told Hannifan that he sounds like all the fans in attendance. Maclin said he thought Hannifan would be on his side. He then took credit for getting Hannifan a job with TNA. Hannifan confirmed that Maclin got him the job and said he’d rather talk to him over a beer.
Hannifan said Santana and people in TNA management have tried to help Maclin. He then questioned why Maclin has been internally fined numerous times. Maclin delivered a punch to Hannifan’s midsection before Santana’s music hit and he chased Maclin out of the ring. Maclin then shoved Mattthew Rehwoldt.
The Hardys and The Righteous vs. The System
Gia Miller filled in for Tom Hannifan on commentary. Jeff Hardy went for Spinal Destination on Eddie Edwards right away. Matt Hardy then did his signature head slams on each turnbuckle in one corner.
Dutch and Bear Bronson met at the center of the ring and exchanged strikes. Bronson tried lifting Dutch up, but he was planted by an exploder suplex. The Righteous then hit Poetry in Motion on Bronson. Vincent was driven down to the mat by a chokebomb from Bronson.
Bronson mocked The Hardys and landed an elbow drop on Vincent. Cedric Alexander was tagged in, and he toyed with Vincent before being dropped by a Russian leg sweep. Matt was tagged in, and he hit a neckbreaker into a DDT combo on Edwards and Alexander. Edwards was dropped by the Side Effect, but Brian Myers broke up the pin.
Bronson was caught in a Twist of Fate by Jeff. Dutch nailed Alexander with Death Walks. Edwards superkicked Dutch out of the ring, but Matt caught him in a reverse DDT. Edwards dropped Hardy while Vincent made a blind tag. Edwards went for Boston Knee Party on Matt, but Vincent pushed Matt out of the way and took the move. Edwards secured the win for his team.
Winners: The System.
After the match, The System began a beatdown before Moose marched down to the ring. Bronson got popped with a big boot. The numbers game was too much for Moose, however. Alisha Edwards ran down and protected Moose from The System to end the show.
