Thursday’s edition of TNA “iMPACT” featured some high-stakes matches on the road to “Slammiversary.” Arianna Grace put the TNA Knockouts Championship on the line against Lei Ying Lee. TNA X Division Champion LeonSlater was paired with Moose to take on Eddie Edwards and Cedric Alexander of The System.
No DQ Match: Eric Young vs. EC3
Eric Young charged at EC3, but he was countered with a Lou Thesz press. EC3 delivered a back elbow to Young. The action spilled outside of the ring, where Young attempted a piledriver. EC3 answered with a back body drop.
EC3 set up a table, but Young fought him off. EY was sent crashing into the ring steps. EC3 put a trash can and a chair in the ring. EC3 delivered some chair shots to his opponent. EC3 wrapped the chair around Young’s neck, but he got sent into the corner. EC3 hit a lariat that sent both him and Young outside of the ring.
Young delivered some low kicks to EC3 and threw the trash can at him. Young then brought a steel chain into the ring and wrapped it around the mouth of his opponent. He then whipped the chain on EC3’s back twice. EC3 turned the tide and went for the One Percenter, but Young hit a back suplex. Young went for a moonsault, but EC3 moved out of the way and hit a rolling neckbreaker. Young was planted with a TKO as EC3 wrapped the chain around his neck. EC3 then wrapped the chair around the neck of Young, but he was low-blowed.
Young charged at EC3 with the chair still wrapped around him, but EC3 countered with a drop-toe hold. EC3 was hit with three low blows on the ring apron before Young landed a pile driver through the table. Back in the ring, Young nailed EC3 with a piledriver on a chair for the win.
Winner: Eric Young
Stacks Has Another Plan
Gia Miller was joined by Arianna Grace and Stacks. Grace claimed there’s no reason for a rematch against Lei Ying Lee. Stacks claimed Santino Marella was playing mind games. He promised another plan for Grace to retain the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
The System Warn Tag Title Challengers
The System delivered a message backstage. Brian Myers and Bear Bronson warned KC Navarro and Nic Nemeth that their hopes of winning the TNA World Tag Team Championship will be dashed. Cedric Alexander and Eddie Edwards then said, “You can’t beat The System.”
Elayna Black Interrupted by Two More Knockouts Contenders
Elayna Black entered the ring and claimed to be the No. 1 Knockout in the division. She took exception to the fact that she isn’t featured in the TNA Knockouts Championship match. The Personal Concierge and Ash by Elegance interrupted Black. Ash called Black a “goth prostitute.” Indi Hartwell had enough of the banter and made her way out. She mocked Black and Ash for bragging about money. Ash said Hartwell is broke. Everyone argued over who will be next for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
Black left the ring while Hartwell and Ash continued arguing. Hartwell claimed everything about Ash is fake, including her breasts. Ash looked to strike, but Hartwell sent her out of the ring.
Daria Rae Gets Word About Santino
Daria Rae got word on the phone that Santino Marella is not in the building. She was quite happy about the news.
Brian Myers and Bear Bronson (c) vs. Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro – for the TNA World Tag Team Championship
KC Navarro landed a reverse headscissors on Brian Myers and followed up with a dropkick. Myers got the advantage and tagged in Bear Bronson. Nic Nemeth and Navarro dropkicked both of their opponents. Nemeth was tagged in, but he was grounded by Myers and Bronson with some interference from Alisha Edwards.
Myers went for a Roster Cut, but Nemeth countered with a Famouser. Nemeth tagged in Navarro, who was met by Bronson. Navarro landed a big DDT, but Myers broke up the pin attempt with a superkick. Nemeth answered with his own superkick on Myers off the apron. Nemeth landed a dive on The System, but Myers caught him with a spear.
Back in the ring, Navarro was tripped by Alisha. This allowed Bronson to hit Bear Down for the win.

After the match, Eddie Edwards demanded that he and Cedric Alexander get their scheduled tag team match against Leon Slater and Moose expedited.
Leon Slater and Moose vs. Eddie Edwards and Cedric Alexander
Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander got things going. Alexander ran into a dropkick. The TNA X Division Champion landed a springboard back elbow. Eddie Edwards was tagged in, but Moose mowed him down after getting a tag of his own.
Moose delivered a huge chop to Alexander. Slater delivered a big boot in the corner to Alexander. Moose then followed up with a back body drop. The System regained momentum. Edwards was the legal man, and he clocked Slater with a lariat. Alexander tagged in, and he landed a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.
Slater managed to get the tag to Moose, who nailed Edwards and Alexander with headbutts. Edwards was the legal man, but he got planted with a uranage, followed by a senton. Edwards went to the middle rope, but Moose landed Go to Hell. Alexander broke up the pin attempt. Slater landed a handspring double back elbow on Edwards and Alexander. Both teams brawled at the center of the ring. Slater and Alexander took each other out with simultaneous big boots. Moose and Edwards were then wiped out by simultaneous clotheslines.
Alexander caught Slater in the Lumbar Check. Moose took out Alexander with a spear. Edwards countered the spear with a sunset flip, but Moose reversed with a pin for the win.
Winners: Moose and Leon Slater
The Hardys Say There’s No Turning Back for The Righteous
“Broken” Matt Hardy claimed The Righteous opened Pandora’s box. Jeff Hardy once again teased going back to his Willow persona.
Mike Santana Overruled by Daria Rae
TNA World Champion Mike Santana said he was ready to choose his next opponent, but Daria Rae put a stop to that. She claimed Santana wasn’t impressive against Rich Swann. She booked a battle royal for next week’s episode of “iMPACT” with the winner getting a shot at the TNA world title. Santana said whoever wins the match will be outlined in chalk.
Daria Rae insisted her music be played to end the segment.
AJ Francis Vows to Hurt KC Navarro
AJ Francis had some words in the back. He blamed KC Navarro for weighing him down during their time together. Francis vowed to steal Navarro’s health in a street fight next week.
KC Navarro Fires Back at AJ Francis
KC Navarro responded to AJ Francis’ comments. He said he was tired of Francis talking about championships that he can’t win. Navarro said all his sick uncle wanted to do was see him return to TNA Wrestling from his torn ACL.
Arianna Grace (c) w/Stacks vs. Lei Ying Lee – for the TNA Knockouts World Championship
Stacks got involved early on, tripping Lei Ying Lee on the ring apron. Lee landed multiple punches to Arianna Grace in the corner. Grace regrouped with Stacks, but Lee took both of them out. Grace slammed Lee down to the mat. She slapped the challenger’s face twice and continued to mock her. A picture-in-picture shot showed Xia Brookside watching the match backstage. Lee landed a pump kick on Grace and then a spear for a two-count.
The challenger landed a fallaway slam, but Grace kicked out of the pin attempt. Grace responded with a superplex. The two exchanged strikes before Lee landed a spinning back kick to the body. She then landed Warrior’s Way.
Stacks placed Grace’s foot on the bottom rope, but the referee caught him in the act. Stacks was tossed from the venue, and Lee dropkicked him on the way out. Grace landed a Codebreaker, followed by the twisting neckbreaker for the near fall. Grace lifted her opponent up, but the challenger slipped out.
Lee hit a neckbreaker from the top rope for the win. She is now a two-time TNA Knockouts World Champion.

Moose Taken Out Backstage
Moose was found unconscious under a guardrail backstage. He had a chair wrapped around his neck. TNA officials called for medical help as “iMPACT” went off the air.
