TNA Wrestling was live for “Thursday Night iMPACT” at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. Leon Slater opened the show, and he had a message for reigning TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth. The Hardys learned that their attackers were two familiar faces who were a part of WWE’s Wyatt Sicks faction. There was also a four-way No. 1 contender match to determine the next challenger for the TNA Knockouts TV Title, and a three-way TNA International Championship match.

Plus, Daria Rae has been suspended from her role as an authority figure in TNA Wrestling after slapping Indi Hartwell. Rae still has a plan to prevent Hartwell from becoming the TNA Knockouts World Champion at “Bound For Glory.”

Nic Nemeth and Leon Slater Risk Title Match

Leon Slater opened the show, and he bragged about giving Ryan Nemeth a beatdown last week, but he didn’t forget about Nic Nemeth ambushing him after the match. Slater said Nemeth sees him getting better every week, and he knows he can be beaten. Slater didn’t want to wait for “Bound for Glory,” and he called Nemeth out.

The TNA World Champion made his way out and entered the ring. Nemeth said there’s a difference between having a bright future and actually being a world champion. Ryan was waiting to attack Slater, but the plan was foiled. Slater hit Ryan with a back elbow before striking Nic. Slater and Nemeth fought through security before they were finally restrained.

Santino Marella made his way out, and he banned Slater and Nemeth from getting physical before “Bound for Glory.” If either man fails to oblige, the match will be canceled.
