It’s fight week for WBO lightweight champion Abdullah Mason vs. Albert Bell, but it’s also the debut of The Fight, a new monthly series airing on TNT Sports in the U.S. and on DAZN worldwide.

TNT Sports has already shown its commitment to making this more than just another sports slot on its network by running an ad on Netflix during commercial breaks for Monday’s WWE RAW. It has also set up shoulder programming leading up to fight night, giving the fighters on the card an opportunity to connect with casual fans on network TV in the U.S. With such emphasis on the country celebrating the 250th Anniversary of Independence, having this show available on TNT Sports is a great way to offer a sporting event on such a significant day.

Below is the press release from TNT Sports outlining some of the events they will host in the coming days.

Fight Week officially begins on Thursday, July 2, as Mason and Bell come face-to-face for the first time ahead of Saturday night’s championship showdown during the final press conference at 2 p.m. ET on truTV. Fans can hear from both fighters, their teams and event officials as anticipation builds for the Independence Day title fight.

The road to fight night reaches its final checkpoint on Friday, July 3, as Mason, Bell and the rest of Saturday’s card step onto the scales during the official weigh-in at 1 p.m. on truTV

On Saturday, ahead of The Fight, TNT and truTV will premiere Bout Camp at 7 p.m., a 30-minute all-access show taking fans inside the training camp of WBO Lightweight Champion Abdullah Mason. Weeks into Mason’s preparation to fight former champion, Welshman Joe Cordina, an unforeseen issue forces a change in opponents. Now Mason must adjust to defend his title against contender Albert Bell, who brings an entirely different fighting style to the ring. Bout Camp covers it all, as the two men prepare to clash in Cleveland on the Fourth of July.

Live fight coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT and truTV with the Ringside pre-match show, hosted by Adam Lefkoe alongside an all-star studio team featuring three-division world champion and pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford, Hall of Fame inductee and two-division world champion Timothy Bradley Jr., and former welterweight world champion Shawn Porter. Together, they’ll deliver expert analysis, exclusive insights and comprehensive breakdowns throughout the evening and ahead of the night’s championship bouts.

At 8 p.m., coverage shifts to the ring on TNTtruTV and DAZN, where Todd Grisham will handle play-by-play alongside analyst Sergio Mora, with Chris Mannix serving as reporter and analyst throughout the evening.

The July 4 card also features WBC Featherweight World Champion Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington defending his title against Mexico’s Rene Palacios, along with Cleveland native and unbeaten welterweight Tiger Johnson facing fellow undefeated contender Christopher Guerrero, and undefeated lightweight knockout artist Deric “Scooter” Davis taking on Carlos Ramos
