Heavyweight boxing returns to Netflix on Saturday night as former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury faces Arslanbek Mahkmudov live from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in England.
Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) is coming off just over 15 months since his unanimous decision loss to Oleksandr Usyk. Since then, Fury was “retired” and filmed the second season of the reality show based on him and his family. Fury unretired a few months ago, and the plan is for him to fight this Saturday. If he wins, he will face Anthony Joshua later this year.
Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs) has experienced a bit of a resurgence since being stopped by Guido Vianello in August 2024. Makhmudov has taken an all-or-nothing approach, and it has worked for him as he scored two straight victories last year. Now, Makhmudov has the chance to become a disruptor and beat the biggest name opponent of his career so far.
